Jennifer’s Blog Can you even believe it’s August! Where has the summer gone. I guess it hasn’t helped that in the last month I haven’t been able to go outside because I’m being eaten alive my mosquitoes. That and it was a busy time at work so it was heads down. Hopefully the beautiful weather that we are having today as I write this continues especially in the last week of Aug when I am off. Email Issue update. I am sad to report I am still having issues with approximately 100 of you not getting emails. Even worse sometimes it’s different 100 people. So a lot of you missed the 201 email I had sent out. See farther in this newsletter for that info.. You also may have missed my special event email that I am doing on printing your pictures on fabric. See farther in newsletter for that as well. I promise that if any reject for this on the 15th when I send I will send it out manually and you can also always look on facebook or the webpage for current news. Quilting 201— Have you ever stopped doing a pattern because it wasn’t real good? Have you ever wished you could design your own quilt, wall hanging or such? Well, this class is going to be for you. It’s going to take the basic skills you learned in Quilting 101 and we are going to teach you some basics that you can make endless quilts. Whether it’s taking a concept you know, reproducing a quilt that you have seen and making it your own, or taking a block and doing what you want with it. There is a pre-requisite with this class. You will have to have taken Quilting 101 or have about 5 quilts/projects under your belt as a quilter! Don’t let this scare those of you who have just taken 101. You have the skills to do this class! As an added bonus you will get to do multiple projects out of the course. You also get to draw! I mean this class is going to be fun. There will be a ton of homework but I think you can do it! Class will be limited to 3 people at a time. Interested? Stop in and sign up! Get on the waiting list! This is a picture of the first of two projects that you will make without a pattern! When: Saturday, August 31 @9am! It is a six week class! Cost: $65. Teacher: Jenn Shushnar.
